When there’s no cure, there’s the miracle of care.

Hospice care is appropriate for:

  • Those with end-stage illnesses
  • Those with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course

This includes illnesses such as:

  • Alzheimer’s
  • Dementia
  • Heart and liver diseases
  • Cancer
  • AIDS
  • COPD or other lung diseases
  • Neurological diseases such as ALS and Parkinson’s

When should someone seek Hospice services?

Hospice is really intended to address all the needs of the patient and family for the last stages of an illness, not just the last hours, days or weeks of life.

As a patient or family member, you’ll get the most comprehensive care by contacting us when you learn the illness is incurable. You don’t need a doctor’s referral to contact us; we’ll arrange for the physician’s order approving Hospice care so we can begin to care for you or your loved one as soon as possible.
