The 13th Annual Fargo-Moorhead Caregiver Conference, ‘Recharge, Rebalance, Rejuvenate,’ will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center, located at 202 1st Ave. N. in Moorhead, Minn. A light brunch will be served.
The conference features expert presenters on a variety of caregiving topics. Presentations during the event will include “Medication Adherence” with Hannah Kallio, a pharmacy student at NDSU, and Trish Floyd from the Interagency Program for Assistive Technology; and “Activities for Patients and Caregivers” with Megan Suby, a volunteer coordinator with Hospice of the Red River Valley, and Abby Husar, MS, OTR/L, from Essentia Health. The conference will close with “Sleep Hygiene and Relaxation” with Dr. Jodi Johnson from Fargo VA Health Care System.
