Grief Journeys for Adults

Hospice of the Red River Valley offers a free ongoing grief support group for anyone 18 years and older who have experienced a loss through death. This group is free and open to the public, offered in multiple locations.

East Grand Forks, Minn.

Date: Second Thursday of each month
Time: 1:30-3 p.m.
Location: East Grand Forks Campbell Library, 422 4th St. NW, East Grand Forks, Minn.

Fargo, N.D.

Daytime Group
Date: Fourth Tuesday of each month
Time: 1-2:30 p.m.
Location: Hospice of the Red River Valley, 1701 38th St. S., Fargo, N.D. (use west door)

Evening Group
Date: Second Tuesday of each month
Time: 6:30-8 p.m.
Location: Hospice of the Red River Valley, 1701 38th St. S., Fargo, N.D.  (use west door)

Mayville, N.D.

Date: First Wednesday of each month
Time: 10-11:30 a.m.
Location: Mayville State University, Campus/Student Center, Heritage Room (NE corner of campus, use the west door), Stan Dakken Dr., Mayville, N.D.

Valley City, N.D.

Date: Second Wednesday of each month
Time: 2-3:30 p.m.
Location: Hospice of the Red River Valley, 1240 W. Main Street, Valley City, N.D.

Hospice of the Red River Valley offers a variety of support groups in several communities. Support groups are powerful ways of finding validation for your feelings and deriving a sense of shared experience and commonality. Each of our uniquely designed groups provides support and practical suggestions for your grief journey. All of our support groups are open to the public and free of charge.
