Hospice of the Red River Valley partners with Alzheimer’s Association to hold ‘Living With Dementia’ community event

Living With DementiaJoin us for an evening of practical advice, information and stories that offer hope and guidance to those living with dementia at all stages, and their caregivers at “Living With Dementia.”

This event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center, located at 202 1st Ave. N., Moorhead.

Co-sponsored by Hospice of the Red River Valley and The Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota, the event will feature Carol Bradley Bursack, a local aging and caregiving author, and Dr. Tricia Langlois, the medical director for Hospice. Bring your questions about living with dementia at any stage for our panel of experts.

The event is free and open to the public. Family caregivers, professional caregivers (nurses, social workers, chaplains, clergy and physicians) and anyone who works with people living with dementia are invited. No CEs will be provided for this event.
