Hospice of the Red River Valley welcomed Michelle Cooley to the agency as a nurse practitioner. In her role, Cooley collaborates with the hospice medical director to provide comfort and quality medical care to patients who are terminally ill. She also works with hospice nursing staff to provide expert guidance regarding patient care.
Previously, Cooley was employed by Altu Health System in Grand Forks, N.D., as a registered nurse and later as a nurse practitioner. Cooley also worked as an assistant clinical professor at the University of North Dakota College of Nursing in Grand Forks. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing and a nurse practitioner certification from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
