Mayville State University Athletics to Host Hoops for Hospice Fundraiser
WHO: Mayville State University invites the community to support a local non-profit organization at “Hoops for Hospice,” a fundraiser in support of Hospice of the Red River Valley (HRRV). As an independent, not-for-profit hospice, HRRV serves Mayville and the surrounding communities.
WHAT: During the Dec. 2 men’s and women’s basketball games against University of Minnesota, Morris, fans can donate in support of HRRV. Register to win door prizes, and participate in the halftime shooting contests. All donations will benefit HRRV in the Mayville area.
“Hospice of the Red River Valley has been in Mayville since 1985,” said Curt Seter, development officer for Hospice of the Red River Valley. “We’re pleased to be able to serve the area, and we’re so thankful for the support of the community.”
WHEN: Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
