Hospice of the Red River Valley Receives FM Area Foundation Disaster Ready Organization Grant

The FM Area Foundation recently awarded Hospice of the Red River Valley a $1,500 Disaster Ready Organization grant to support our disaster readiness program. With the generous grant, we will be able to equip our seven offices with maps, whiteboards and crank radios, among other things, to ensure our staff is the most prepared for a natural disaster.

The FM Area Foundation is North Dakota’s largest community foundation and was founded in 1960. The FM Area Foundation is a charitable organization that supports Cass and Clay counties through long-term philanthropy, and supports local nonprofits through its annual grant round in the areas of:

  • Arts, Culture and Creativity
  • Basic Human Needs
  • Community Building
  • Education

Thank you to the FM Area Foundation for their generous support of our mission and so many others in our community!
