Redeemer Lutheran Church raises more than $3,500 for Hospice of the Red River Valley

Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, Minn., has raised $3,545 for Hospice of the Red River Valley. The church typically holds an annual spaghetti benefit dinner in early October, but COVID-19 altered plans for the event. Organizers were committed to still supporting this important work, so they held a fundraising drive instead.

Redeemer Lutheran Church has raised more than $33,000 to support Hospice of the Red River Valley through the years.

“We are so grateful for the generosity and support despite the challenges presented by COVID-19,” said Erin Hagen, development officer with Hospice of the Red River Valley. “The continued commitment to supporting Hospice of the Red River Valley ensures compassionate end-of-life care will continue long into the future.”

Hospice of the Red River Valley has an office in Thief River Falls. The service area expanded in 2009 to cover individuals living in Thief River Falls and the surrounding communities.
