Hospice of the Red River Valley to host virtual Lunch and Learn ‘Elder Abuse Training’ March 9

Lunch and LearnHealth care professionals are invited to Hospice of the Red River Valley’s upcoming virtual Lunch and Learn as we continue to explore topics related to end-of-life care.

The next session will be held Tuesday, March 9, from noon-1 p.m. Suzie Kramer-Brenna, prevention education supervisor with the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center, will present “Elder Abuse Training.” This collaborative session will help attendees:

  • Describe the primary types of abuse in later life,
  • Describe what you do if you are aware of an elder abuse situation,
  • Provide at least two examples of how to support elders who have experienced abuse.
