Being Mortal Free Film Screening & Discussion (LaMoure)

April 2, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Being Mortal

Join us for a free screening and discussion of the Emmy-nominated PBS FRONTLINE documentary “Being Mortal.”

Based on the best-selling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, this film explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the doctors, nurses and family members who care for them.

See clips from the film and be part of a national conversation taking place in our community that asks:
“Have you and your family had these important conversations and planned ahead?”

After the screening, you can participate in a guided conversation on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences.

RSVPs are appreciated, but not required, to rosi.zimbleman@bhshealth.org or (701) 883-5363. Food and beverages provided by St. Rose Care Center. This event is hosted by St. Rose Care Center and Rosewood Court.
