Being Mortal Free Film Screening & Discussion (Pelican Rapids)

June 23, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us for a free screening and discussion of the Emmy-nominated PBS FRONTLINE documentary “Being Mortal.”

Based on the best-selling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, this film explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the doctors, nurses and family members who care for them.

See the film and be part of a national conversation taking place in our community that asks: “Have you and your family had these important conversations and planned ahead?”

After the screening, you can participate in a guided conversation on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences.

This two-hour program is approved for two (2) continuing education hours for nurses and social workers.

For more information and to RSVP by June 21, contact Jennifer Berube at (218) 863-2991 or Sue Sorensen at (218) 841-0371.
