How to Help a Grieving Friend Class (Perham)

June 14, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Location:
Schoeneberger Funeral and Cremation Service, 100 Jake Street, Perham, Minn.

When a friend loses a loved one through death, we struggle to know what to do. Working through grief involves accepting the loss, experiencing the pain of that loss, and creating a different bond or relationship with the person you have lost. This presentation offers attendees ways to help a friend who has experienced the loss of a loved one.

This will be held on Thursday, June 14 from 6-8 p.m. It is free and open to the public. Pre-register by calling (218) 346-5175 or emailing info@schoenebergerfh.com.

Following the How to Help a Grieving Friend presentation, Steve Sheets and Hans Larson, licensed funeral directors with Schoeneberger Funeral and Cremation Service, will present “The Value of Pre-planning Your Funeral.” When a loved one passes, your family can face an overwhelming number of decisions if you have not documented your wishes ahead of time. Learn about the importance of pre-planning for your funeral and the options available for your final arrangements.
