Health care professionals are invited to Hospice of the Red River Valley’s upcoming Lunch and Learn as we continue to explore topics related to end-of-life care. Lunch and Learns are held on the second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November from noon-1 p.m. Due to COVID-19, the events are held virtually. 

Upcoming Session
The next session will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12, from noon-1 p.m. Janna Kontz, grief specialist with Hospice of the Red River Valley, will present “Grief During a Pandemic.“

This collaborative session will help attendees:

• Understand challenges of grief during a pandemic,
• Identify different feelings and emotions associated with COVID-19,
• Learn tips on coping with grief during a pandemic.

Continuing Education
Hospice of the Red River Valley is an approved provider of continuing education for social workers in North Dakota. This program will be awarded 1 contact hour. 

Locations
This Lunch and Learn will be held virtually/online. Attendees will receive a link for the online meeting upon registration 24 hours prior to the presentation.
