Health care professionals are invited to Hospice of the Red River Valley’s upcoming Lunch and Learn as we continue to explore topics related to end-of-life care. Lunch and Learns are held on the second Tuesday of February, March, April, May, August, September, October and November from noon to 1 p.m. Due to COVID-19, the October Lunch and Learn will be held virtually. Due to high interest, we are offering the following presentation again.

Upcoming Session
The next session will be held Tuesday, Oct. 13, from noon-1 p.m. Stephen Astrup, project and regulatory counsel with Hospice of the Red River Valley, will present “Making Sense of Health Care Directives.“

This collaborative session will help attendees:

• Identify circumstances in which a health care directive may be necessary
• Increase cross-discipline competence in understanding the importance of, and assisting in, the preparation of health care directives.

Continuing Education
Hospice of the Red River Valley is an approved provider of continuing education for social workers in North Dakota. This program will be awarded 1 contact hour. Please note: Those who received a contact hour for this presentation in September are welcome to attend, but will not be eligible for another contact hour.

This Lunch and Learn will be held virtually/online. Attendees will receive a link for a RingCentral online meeting upon registration.
