Information on National Hospice Organizations

The following websites provide information on hospice care philosophy, practices, national healthcare coverage programs and more. Hospice of the Red River Valley is not affiliated with these organizations.

National Partnership for Hospice Innovation – NPHI is a collaborative of not-for-profit, community-integrated, hospice and palliative care providers from across the country. NPHI members invest heavily in bedside care, provide robust bereavement services, offer psychosocial and spiritual support, and consistently achieve the highest standard of care.

National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization – NHPCO is the largest nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs in the Unites States. They’re committed to improving end of life care and expanding access to hospice care with the goal of profoundly enhancing quality of life for people dying in America and their loved ones.

Hospice Foundation of America – The Hospice Foundation of America provides leadership in the development and application of hospice and its philosophy of care with the goal of enhancing the U.S. health care system and the role of hospice within it.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services – The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services provides information on medical and support services from Medicare-approved hospices.
