Why do you choose to volunteer with Heirlooms?
The mission of Hospice of the Red River Valley is close to my heart knowing how families receive much-needed help during difficult end-of-life situations. My own family benefitted from Hospice help with four family members. We will be forever grateful.

How does it make you feel to know your work at Heirlooms support Hospice of the Red River Valley’s mission?
I’m happy to “give back” so to speak. I can’t think of a better use of my time knowing I am able to help with the mission of Hospice in a small way.

What is your favorite aspect of Heirlooms?
Definitely, the friendships I’ve made. I also love seeing how the store has become a favorite destination for so many people.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My wonderful family!

Do you have a motto or philosophy you live by? What is it and why?
Make every day count! I feel I’ve been very blessed in my lifetime with good health and awesome family and friends. I should never let a day go by without remembering to be thankful and try to accomplish something worthwhile! My motto: Don’t waste time!
